Welcome to “il Birin” relais
There's a special place for each of us. Ours is in Quarna, on the heights of Lake Orta, where the air still smells wonderful and the colors of the forest paint a picture faithful to the changing seasons. Here, where the mountains offer coolness in summer and muffled sounds in winter, lies "il Birin," a refuge for the soul, designed for those who need to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to rediscover their balance and energy at any time of year. Here, at just over 800 meters above sea level, ridges and slopes rise gently, and the village streets gradually wind their way up to trails waiting to be explored, on foot or by bike, which is a natural fit in Quarna.

Beneath a sky of wooden beams and wonder, our idea of hospitality features double rooms with bathrooms and small—but decidedly essential—accommodations. From the designer showers, which utilize a system that optimizes and recovers the energy provided by nature, to the mattresses covered in Celliant®, a patented textile fiber capable of promoting natural biological processes, at "il Birin" relais, hospitality is designed to provide a truly rejuvenating rest.

Our solar panels will keep you warm. For your rest, expertly handcrafted mattresses made locally will ensure your well-being. Outside every shower, antimicrobial diatomite stone rugs will be placed.
Free Wi-Fi
All our rooms, the living area, and the courtyard overlooking the garden are covered by an ultra-fast fiber optic network with private access, completely free for our guests.
Daily care
Your well-being is our top priority. This includes cleaning, which at the "Birin" Relais is punctual and respectful of every need. Even the environment around us.
